NEW PROJECT – The Real Charles Dickens
I’m super pleased to be writing a new biography of Dickens. I wrote a book ‘The World of Charles Dickens’ (Halsgrove) in 2012 to celebrate his 200th birthday (details and an illustrated feature are on the Telegraph website) but this is a different enterprise altogether – much more detail and analysis. It is fantastic to be re-reading his books and articles.
It is scheduled to be released in June 2024 from White Owl which is an imprint of Pen and Sword.
