A warm welcome
Hello and welcome to my website. Here you will find some details about me, my books and some blogs.
I regularly give illustrated talks on both world wars as they affected Norfolk and on Charles Dickens to local history and literature groups, libraries and clubs of various kinds. If you would like to contact me about giving a talk to your group, please use the ‘Contact Me’ feature of this website and I will be delighted to get back to you immediately.
In this superb book two locals set out to explore the county through words and photographs in order to bring to the reader, be they local or visitor, the best places in Norfolk to investigate for themselves. There’s no other place like it, and no other book quite like this one.
This book was inspired in no small part by a wander around the Bidwell/EDP Norfolk Food Festival. Here we saw the best organic veggies, duck eggs, pork pies, Aberdeen Angus beefsteaks, artisan breads and cakes, fruits, juices, jams, pickles, butter, cheeses, milks, poultry, honey, lamb and pork, crabs, lobsters and vegetarian wonders.
This is a walks book with a difference. A guide that is both useful and entertaining – a book the reader can refer to before starting out to decide which part of the trail to follow, something to take with them on a longer walk, or to sit back with on their return to remind them of all they have seen.
