A warm welcome

Hello and welcome to my website. Here you will find some details about me, my books and some blogs.

Currently, I am very excited to be working on a book about one of my boyhood heroes, the incomparable Sherlock Holmes. This has involved reading all of the stories yet again but they seem as fresh as ever to me. Here is the cover which, unusually, was designed at the beginning of the process by a talented designer called Paul Wilkinson. The photos are by myself and my six times co-author and friend, Daniel Tink. I hope to have it ready by the end of 2020 and it will be released by Pen and Sword (History). Ltd.
